One early morning as I was meditating on the scriptures, suddenly my thought became awakened to the words “We Are More Than Conquerors”. I knew this would be the message I was to share for the day with my forum members. Now read on, it will bless you greatly.
The scripture text can be found in Romans 8:37 but in context we should also read verse 38 and 39 as follows:
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
You will see that the above scripture declares to us that nothing in this world or the world to come can separate us from the “Love of God”. Truly this is how much God loved us that He gave us the gift of His only begotten Son to redeem us.
The words “We are more than conquerors” made by the great Apostle Paul to all believers carry a very powerful statement. He is saying to you and I that we are not just a conqueror. We are not just a winner. We are not just a champion. Yes, he is saying that we are more than a conqueror, more than a winner, and certainly more than a champion! That’s who we are as children of the Most High God (EL ELYON). Amen!
Another way of interpreting the statement in verse 37 is that someone who fought the battle had won the fight, received his medal and winnings and then pass them all to us. That would make us “More Than Conquerors” isn’t it?
Now remember what our Lord said in John 16:33? Here’s what He said (Underlined):
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world“
Do you see it? Our Lord Jesus had won the Victor’s Crown for you and me. And that Victory will include all benefits that accompanied the Crown. Beloved, now that the Victory has been won, all that we should do is to be happy and enjoy the “Inheritance” that has been given to us as joint-heirs with Him, our Lord and Savior.
Therefore never again say “we cannot”, instead say “we CAN” for we are more than conquerors!
Let’s us give Him all the Praise, the Honour and all the Glory!
