In Daniel 11:32, the Prophet Daniel taught and encouraged believers to stand strong and to be steadfast in the Lord. And in the scripture here, he said that if we do that we will do many exploits, and many adventures in the Lord!
“But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits”
In Philippians he persuaded all his followers never to give up the faith but to persevere to serve one another and to grow to have the “mind of Christ”. On growth, he said in Philippians 3:10 these words: –
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection …”
As we read and study the scriptures, the Holy Spirit will always be with us to give us understanding and the wisdom of the words for our growth. The Holy Spirit is our great Teacher and the scriptures are God’s truths and his “Living Bread” as food for our spirit man. That’s why we should always and be “forever grateful” to the Lord and and His Cross!
When a believer wakes up each morning, what do you think would be his or her first thought? Does he hears a hymn or does he say “Thank you Lord for this new day” ? I am persuaded that this attitude should be our main focus and thought, not the cares of the world!
Just read the words in this chorus. Shouldn’t this be the thoughts in our mind?
“And I’m forever grateful to You
I’m forever grateful for the Cross
I’m forever grateful to You
That You came To seek and save the lost”
